SVPHS STUDENT GOVERNMENT ASSOCIATION
The specific delegated responsibilities of the SGA are to:
- Serve as the official representative of the student body to the faculty and administration.
- Assist at special school events such as: Fall Open House, Homecoming Dance, Orientation, Accepted Students Breakfast, Spring Open House, etc.**
- Act as consultants to the faculty and administration concerning all matters of student life.
- Promote school spirit, pride and unity by sponsoring a variety of social events.
- Work in conjunction with Administration concerning all matters of club budgets, events, and the establishment of an activities calendar for each academic year.
** This means that before you can be assigned a sports table or other job, you will plan to be with SGA and Admissions for a specific job assignment. **

Wednesday, May 17 - Election Packet Distribution to Students
Tuesday, May 23 by Noon - Complete Questionnaire Packet/Online Form
May 26 - May 30 - Attend Candidate Meeting at 2:30pm in the Courtyard
Tuesday, May 31 - Officer Elections Campaign
